GW: Cykliści mają głos w Gazeta Cafe

Olsztyńskich rowerzystów zapraszamy w środę 4 lutego o godz. 17 do kawiarni prasowej Gazeta Cafe przy ul. Kołłątaja 21.

W spotkaniu będzie uczestniczył Mirosław Arczak, przedstawiciel cyklistów w olsztyńskim Urzędzie Miasta. Spotkanie jest okazją do zapoznania się ze szczegółami zadań pełnomocnika ds. rowerowych i możliwościami współpracy. Będzie to także okazja do dyskusji na temat planowanych remontów i modernizacji infrastruktury rowerowej. Mieszkańcy jeżdżący rowerami mogą zgłosić buble, z którymi spotykają się na olsztyńskich ścieżkach rowerowych. Wysokie krawężniki, stojące na środku trasy słupy albo latarnie, nierówną nawierzchnię, dziury i złe oznakowanie. - Prosimy o przygotowanie konkretnych miejsc, które uprzykrzają nam życie - mówi Arczak.

Podczas dyskusji rowerzyści będą mogli zgłaszać wnioski, gdzie w najbliższym czasie powinny powstać rowerowe ścieżki.

Powołanie pełnomocnika ds. rowerowych to efekt wspólnych działań olsztyńskich rowerzystów i "Gazety Wyborczej". Inicjatywa powołania pełnomocnika pojawiła się po błędach popełnianych przy budowie kolejnych ścieżek rowerowych w mieście. Rowerzyści podczas debaty zorganizowanej przez "Gazetę" w październiku w Gazeta Cafe zgłosili potrzebę powołania pełnomocnika, który będzie podpowiadał drogowcom, jak uniknąć błędów. Uczestniczący w spotkaniu urzędnicy ratusza i radni zadeklarowali pomoc. Mirosław Arczak wybrany przez rowerzystów na pełnomocnika w ubiegłym tygodniu dostał z ratusza zaproszenie do współpracy.

Propozycje poprawek można wysyłać też mailem na adres: Adres poczty elektronicznej jest chroniony przed robotami spamującymi. W przeglądarce musi być włączona obsługa JavaScript, żeby go zobaczyć.
