Kierowcy wygrywają z rowerzystami na ul. Sielskiej


Miejska komisja bezpieczeństwa ruchu drogowego doszła do wniosku, że nowy przejazd dla rowerzystów przez ul. Sielską powinien być zlikwidowany. Wygląda na to, że lobby kierowców znowu chce wziąć górę nad prawami cyklistów.


W Olsztynie wciąż jednym z większych problemów dla cyklistów są rwące się w najmniej oczekiwanym momencie ścieżki rowerowe. Miejsc, gdzie trzeba zsiadać z roweru i przeprowadzać go przez jezdnię jest u nas bez liku. Jednak coraz częściej pojawiają się też dobre praktyki projektowania infrastruktury drogowej, a przykładem tego jest chociażby nowa ul. Sielska, gdzie nie zapomniano o budowie przejazdów rowerowych.
